Last week in the management class, we had a class activity. We have to use the limited supplies to protect the egg from drooping 10 feet tall. During the process, I think our group did a good job. We almost did the same exact way the Planning Process is suppose to be. We know we have to protect the egg during the activity, so we can get five points for our next test. To get to the goal, we think of so many ways to do it. After a little bit of discussion, since we don't have a long time, we find out the "best" way to protect our egg. So, we started to separate the work to everyone, who is going to cut the straws, who is going to write down the information, and etc. And in the limited time period, we finish with what we wanted to made. However, our group's egg broke a little bit. Maybe there is some calcuation we did wrong. But I still think we did a good job even we did not protect the egg well, at least it's not broken like the one in the picture.

Yea, I also think our group did a great job on this activity, even though we did not achieve the goal. The activity was really cool and we also see that there is so many ways to protect the eggs from other groups’ ideas. In general, I think we plan everything nicely but the result isn’t that good. It was a nice experience to work with everyone in our group and made a nice plan (we actually follow the planning process steps) but the only bad thing is that we can not get the extra 5 points on our exam. I believe we will do better on other activities in class next time!
I am also wondering why our egg leaks a bit? And we lose the ability to earn a 5 extra points. But, we did work as a group, and we stay with our plan, and build our construction. So, overall, we did our best. Indeed, I am happy with the teammates that I have, because we share a same goal and objectives.
It seems as though there was probably a minor issue in the design process that was overlooked but everything is a learning process so I'm pretty sure you would do even better next time.
